Before we can take you to the page to book your Wikipedia article creation, we have to make sure you are currently eligible. This is because Wikipedia has strict notability guidelines, meaning if you are not a notable subject proven by reliable news sources, you do not qualify for a Wikipedia article. Below we have listed important criteria for you to go through
Blacklisted News Websites – None of these!
Below are a list of news websites that ARE NOT ALLOWED to be used AT ALL on Wikipedia.
Other websites like the ones listed here
Greylisted News Websites – Can include these!
Any article written by a byline alias such as “Staff Writer” automatically becomes a greylisted article. Any news marked as press release/paid/sponsored will be a greylisted news article. You CAN include greylisted news articles in your Wikipedia, however you can not make any exceptional claims about other people using greylisted news AND you still need at least 2 other Greenlisted news articles.
Any primary news, such as news written by someone about themselves is greylisted as well, this also includes any type of interviews on any website BESIDES a third party news company writing an article about on an interview that took place on a separate platform.
